Like this collection of knick knacks below, I have been growing my LP

collection, but there is one collection I want more than anything else. I want a stable of GTOs.

“But CaptDale, surely you only need one or two.”

That would be true if it was of the same car, like multiple 04-06 GTOs like the one I have, but no, I want one of every car to carry the GTO badge.

Here is my list so far:

#5 Ferrari 250 GTO California SWB Spider

#9 Mitsubishi GTO

Well that is my list so far... it will be a lot of money...

I wouldn’t mind a collection of H22-powered cars. 4th and 5th gen Preludes (already have them), 5th gen Accord SiR wagon (eligible for federalization), 6th gen Accord Euro-R (importable in 2025).

I highly recommend a nice tube amp. The Dynaco ST70 I use is wonderful, but those are pretty pricey for a good one

1 of every version of E34 (in wagon and sedan form) sold in America in 1995, the final year of the body style and the one I have. Starting at the bottom (525i) and going all the way up to the M5 and also M5 Touring (the only European car in the collection). It’s only like 8 cars, but it would be neat. Maybe I’d even get them in the same color.

I collect beer caps. I have around 400, all different. 2 picture frames in my laundry room. (that’s where my wife lets me display my proof of alcoholism) 144 in each frame. Almost ready for frame 3. I’d share a pic but, Kinja is a cruel hearted bitch. I’ve never been able to get a pic to post. I can however change my profile pic. tiny pic of beer caps coming

Doubt it haha. Most of the items were picked just for their (subjective) aesthetic value. I really like the concepts of the designs that they were shooting for, but in many cases the build quality is just so poor, there’s no way they’d be worth anything. I do have a few licensed TLotR pieces, though. Those ones are pretty nice.

Yeah I’m a sucker for just about everything Weta did on those films. The replicas are nowhere near that level of fine craftsmanship, but they’re not bad. It’s hard to pick a favorite.

I always want to twin turbo one in a Taurus. It would tak a massive amount of work as well as hacking but it would be fun. Well, fun if you stiffen it a ton.
