Anything we want to get rid of gets manifested for property disposition. A truck comes and takes it to a warehouse down in College Station to be stored right next to the Ark of the Covenant. There are occasionally property auctions, but I’m told the computers worth anything are given to the prisons for inmate use. I doubt these would make that cut.

There you are. We keep these around as spares to drive the ancient graphics card that is in the box above the picture, connected to the camera in our gel doc unit. Something has borked the XP SAM file in that machine, and I may have to dump it and use one of these spares because I can’t get at the user or administrator passwords.

oh right everything I have is for retro windows 9x gaming and MIDI sorry

but search on eBay or craigslist you can find C2D era desktops for under $100 shipped... look for an HP dc7900 with 4GB RAM and you can toss in an SSD, upgrade the processor, etc.
