It’s June Bug season, at least in NorCal where I grew up. I used to find these fuckers everywhere, even in my laundry.

I came home from cycling last night to find one clinging to my shoulder. Who knows how long it had been on there.

We have them in Tennessee too and while there are not as many as they were while I lived in California, they are just as obnoxious.

It clung to you because it wants to make you suffer.

I was playing Forza 4 in my room one night when the biggest June Bug I’ve ever seen started swarming me.

If they are in your house you need to check for holes and air leaks. Generous use of boric acid around crevices will kill any bug trying to get in or out too.

...Well it isn’t really a problem for me anymore.

WE had a fly in Mexico that wouldn’t leave us alone. I about spilled 2 different beverages trying to get it away from me.

I’ve been seeing them here in IA for a couple weeks.
We also have Mayflies near rivers. Imagine a large mosquito that only lives for 24 hours. Then multiply that by about a million. They literally coat the surface of bridges with their dead bodies and smell like ass.

My university in Oregon was next to a big lake. Every summer Mayflies would swarm the lake and create a haze over it.

There are places without June Bugs? I’ve never lived anywhere that didn’t have them. Here in Louisiana, we get June Bugs, mosquitoes, mosquito hawks, and Love Bugs. Haven’t heard of those? Take a look...

I killed a roach about the size of a small mouse in my apartment yesterday. I don’t wanna hear about your cute little junebugs.

Cockroaches are just as afraid of humans as humans are of cockroaches.

I think these are one of the most convincing arguments for full face helmets. Imagine that hitting your face at 70 mph.

The helmet would also work at 0 mph.
