Swap on an ‘86 nose and its basically the perfect Fox. Notch with t-tops is like my unicorn.

I like it as is. And I really don’t care for foxes. Especially the notch. This one is just so clean and handsome. (minus the wheels)

kind of strange to think that when that car was new it put out all of 140 horsepower from the V8.
unless it’s an ‘82, which had 157.

Or you could just buy a Mercury Capri which has awesome fenders! Mine below, but it’s not the best shot to prove it:

If you do it you gotta do it though. Fenders, hood and grille/bumper. The hoods (and I believe the fenders) are different lengths.
What you REALLY need is a Mexican notch mustang (I know you prefer it to the hatch):
