This seems both redundant and counterproductive.

eww. Fake snorkel and short ram in the puddle killer location?
![]() 05/29/2017 at 23:34 |

Yes, and I wouldn’t consider it short ram, as it’s longer than stock.

Very.

Only way this could work is if the bottom one had a float in it so as the water rises it seals out lower and intake only from upper.
This wouldn’t work well.

Especially if it was only taking in a little bit of water.

I have seen a snorkel installed purely for the look and as a cabin air intake.
Maybe the down low is the diff breather...or maybe not.

The snorkel could be purely cosmetic. Just look at the rest of the car.

Look underneath the front bumper...

I own one of these 4Runners, there is no filter where it should be.

That’s like wearing a parka with flip flops.. bro do you even filter?
![]() 05/30/2017 at 09:52 |

Probably bought the snorkel and hasn’t done anything else with it. Looks very silly.

God that’s so much worse than stock!

fs, new engine.. lol
Hopefully the ratchet straps on the roof rack weren’t holding a hilift..

I saw that lower intake but I am guessing one is fake or they have some jerry rigged Y Intake thing going on there.

The snorkel is fake, the water catcher is real.

that is crazy - why spend any time doing that?

Pure stupidity.
