Marry the Lexus because everyday dependability.

Kill the Buick because the ATS/Camaro exist anyways.

Marry Buick, fuck Lexus, kill BMW.
Reasoning: Buick is gorgeous and would be the most reliable. Lexus is better looking but long-term prospects are probably less sure. The BMW... just no. Nope.

Obviously answer is obvious, there’s a reason only one of these is in production

Kill the Lexus. Ew. Why does it have wheels from 2003? This is a shame, because I know she’s pretty on the inside.
Fuck the BMW. Has to be after 2am, though. This thing isn’t going to age well, and it’s only attractive from certain angles.
Marry the Buick. She’s beautiful and I can bring her home to mom and dad? Sold.

Fine Aston, with a Buick badge

Marry the Buick
Let the Lexus and BMW fight in tryouts

DD: BMW
Track: Buick

Forget the first two, I would do anything to that brown LC

“Buick is gorgeous and would be the most reliable”

When was that list compiled? I’m calling bullshit on Mitsubishi being more reliable than anything. Or Subaru. Or Volkswagen. What the actual fuck is that list?
![]() 05/26/2017 at 13:38 |
|
Yeah, and complete bullshit that Pontiac costs that much more when they are all just rebadged Chevrolets.

https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/the-most-and-least-expensive-cars-to-maintain-by-maddy-martin
It looks like they’re using only data from cars they’ve serviced so there is obviously a lot of missing info.
![]() 05/26/2017 at 13:48 |

Yeah, it’s the Buick Avenir, I’m taking the piss lol (because lots of their current lineup are just rebadged Vauxhalls).
I don’t dislike the Buick concept, but I wouldn’t take it over the other two personally.

I don’t know anything about YourMechanic but Consumer Reports says the most reliable cars are:
1 Lexus - 2 Toyota - 3 Buick
So either way, Lexus beats Buick.
![]() 05/26/2017 at 14:13 |

Marry the Buick that’ll never exist.
Fuck the BMW that clearly doesn’t have turn signals.
Kill the rolling Nike advert. :P
![]() 05/26/2017 at 14:15 |

That still doesn’t translate into a less expensive ownership experience.

Marry Lexus, fuck BMW, kill Buick.
![]() 05/26/2017 at 14:24 |

That is exactly what YourMechanic looked into. Don’t take it too personally, they don’t make the W-body anymore.
![]() 05/26/2017 at 14:39 |

Holy hell I just noticed it doesn’t have signals
At least BMW is noticing their target audience.

Try using something more up to date next time.
![]() 05/26/2017 at 14:54 |

I mean YourMechanic and the CR thing I found were both from last year. But J.D. Power Bottom also confirms my point that Lexus is more reliable than Buick.
![]() 05/26/2017 at 14:58 |

That’s maintenance costs, not how often or likely something breaks. One expensive fix and five cheap fixes could be the same there, but I’d call the one that needs fixing five times less reliable. I think that explains Mitsubishi shoot.

*sobs*
![]() 05/26/2017 at 15:21 |

I’d rather have something break on the Buick. Ever tried fixing a Lexus? Fuck ‘em. Fuck ‘em so hard. Fuck the LS400 right in its stupid everything-is-motorized ass. Wanna fix a gauge cluster? You can fuck yourself first. Power steering? Impossible to get to and engineered to fail stupendeously. Water pump? HAHAHAHAHHAHHAAHAHAHA.
Source: Very salty about an LS400 I tried to keep running once.

The VW only costs $5600 to maintain because it completely dies before it reaches 75,000 miles anyway.

honestly not sure who to believe when it comes to reliability ratings like these, where there are such big differences when certain brands are rated.

Fuck: Buick
Marry: Lexus
Kill: BMW
