SC doesn’t require a front plate. SC charges an insane amount of money for a personalized plate. So I run my old personalized Florida plate on the front.

That seems like a really bad idea.
Running a novelty plate there might be fine, but I wouldn’t run a real plate from the region where the vehicle’s registered, but not actually currently valid for it.

Probably cause of all that mud you drove through. Mud is slippery...

Especially when someone rolls a log into a hole that you get caught on.

Yeah, that’s part of the problem. 99% sure you could get a pretty sizable ticket for running two USA license plates with different tags, especially if that FL plate is reissued.

Eh, I’ve passed quite a few troopers with it, and none of them seem to care. The fact that we don’t have front plates here probably has a lot to do with it.

Do you have a solid front axle?

Nah, for what I use it for, the stock IFS is fine. I don’t plan on doing any major rock crawling with it.

Cool, I was delirious after baby duty and looking at this scratching my head because I could not understand what I was seeing.

The front diff has a fairly beefy cage around it.
