At first I was like, “NO, that was a state-wide, governor’s election and this is a congressional district.” Then I remembered that Montana only has one congressional district for the whole state.

I suppose the main difference is last time he ran against a relatively popular incumbent vs. now he’s running against some folk singer dude with financial problems that may or may not be from medical bills, and no political experience.
