XJL Supersport
Someday I hope I can portray myself as old money. Also supercharged V8 but mainly old money.

I have a 300 Limited. I HIGHLY suggest it. Such a great car.

I almost commented that you had one and would be by shortly to extol its virtues.

My buddy got a rental one from his insurance after his car got totaled (Not his fault) and it was awesome, even as a rental spec.

The 300s with the V8 are decent. The ones with the V6 are utter shit IMO. Unreliable as well.

For me;
Kia Forte5 SX-T
Civic Hatch
Chevy Cruze Hatch
Buick Regal Sportback
I guess I have a type, turbocharged non-hot hatches.

They also have a problem in which the exhaust falls apart.

Suzuki would still be business in the US had they sold the new generation Swift over here. They were dying just as small cars were getting popular in the US, and they had like a 20-year head start!

How many miles do you have on it? Have you had any problems with it?

At the top of my list is a Matrix XRS or Vibe GT, with the 2ZZ. All the fun of 8000 rpm with the space of a wagon and the quality of Toyota!
Another good car is the 5th gen Camry. Especially the manual SE.
I also like the Saturn Astra with the panoramic sunroof. They’re not expensive, but it is hard to find a 4-door manual with the sunroof.
As for something newer, I’d have to go to Canada to get a manual Mazda 5 or a manual Civic Sport Touring hatchback (down here, it’s CVT-only)
Chevy still offers a white Sonic with white wheels, but too bad they got rid of the cool digital dash.

46k, the weld at the exhaust and muffler broke, but that’s a common weak spot and I got a stainless steel magnaflow exhaust outta if so I’m not mad.

cool! I hope you have many more trouble-free miles. How does the Magnaflow sound?

Of course a V8! I don’t know if I’m right, but I’ve always seen the Charger/300 as the closest thing to an old school American sedan.

Take the Civic over the Cruze (both start with a C, Illuminati confirmed!) the steering on the Cruze is absolutely numb as hell. Although you can get a shit ton of luxury features dirt cheap.

The Crown Vic won the award for that until they stopped making them. I guess the Continental is pretty similar ish I guess.

It’s fwd based awd with 400hp. Nothing to sneeze at

What defines “regular”? Sub-$40k? Non-performance trim? Non-luxury brand? Sedans versus coupes? SO MANY CHOICES.
For me, a next-generation Bronco and/or Ranger crew cab, a Suzuki SX4 Crossover to do outrageous crap to and beat the snot out of for laughs, a Fiesta ST, a used Raptor crew cab with the 6.2L (to stay under my self-imposed $40K limit) for off-road shenanigans, a CarMax-sourced green Jaguar XF with the 5.0L, a CarMax-sourced Range Rover Sport (same), and
finally, 2017+ CX-5 Grand Touring:

I’ve always liked the second gen 300. It’s the only car I can think of that absolutely must be in black.

It’s AWD with 400 hp, I’d rather have that than the Hemi 300C (not that that’s a bad car, I’d just rather have the newer, faster, better built car)
