I’m glad I basically only know like 10 celebrities. So I don’t have to be sad whenever a bunch die. Robin Williams is pretty much the only one I’ve known who died.

Boomers aren’t surprising to me. They thought 2016 was bad, but it will continue to get worse until we’re so numb to it that we don’t notice anymore. We still have twenty to thirty years to burn through the remainder. The ones we’ll remember most will be these early ones and the really late ones that live to a very old age.
This cluster is interesting because thus far we have two people that were famous from/among Gen-X. I would have expected clusters to be rare before about 2030 or so (when the very front edge is hitting retirement age and the center of the group is right around the age that hard living starts catching up with people).
