I started attacking the Vespa restoration.

Kinja'd!!!

Missing clip on the left bolt hole.

Kinja'd!!!

I kind of dig this look.

Kinja'd!!!

Raise my haunches?

Kinja'd!!!

BUSTED!

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

I like a little clearance.

As I pulled it apart, I kept finding little clips missing. I want to do this right, so one more parts order.

The biggest one was the cracked plastic panel that runs by the rear wheel.

Here is the question.

I like the way it looks when I removed the rear panels above the wheels. Instead of ordering a replacement for the cracked panel, we could shave these down to a narrow strip to cover the grommets on the rear fender, and give it a more aggressive stance by lifting the “haunches”?

Whaddaya think Oppo?

I personally prefer the stock look in terms of body panels, but it’s your little ride so if you want to mod it up, feel free - it’s your scooter, enjoy it as you see fit! :)

I will still like it either way....just a little more if the panels were kept stock :P

If you like it, do it. You’re already doing something insane, so why stop now?
