This accident happened just up the road from my work, and a mile from the high school. Whiteness said the 16 year old in the car passed several cars on his way into town, and word is he was doing about 85 just before the accident.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Now this kid is dead and 18 other students possibly emotionally scarred, just because he was running late for school.
This kid of this is a lot scarier now that I have a kid of my own.

My oldest will be driving in less than two years. I don’t think he’ll do anything as idiotic as this, but you never know.

Similar thing happened in my hometown, except it was foggy and raining and the 18 year old hit the bus head on at 120. His head was found a little piece down the road, along with the roof of his Trans-Am.

With any luck he’ll do something stupid that goes wrong at lower speeds first.
Ask how I know... or don’t

I’m OK with driver’s ed showing the aftermath of these crashes. Kids don’t understand that these speeds can literally leave you, or pieces of you, all over the road.

Luckily my stupid moments happened at lower speeds and into snow banks instead of the back of a school bus

Similar to mine. I won’t bore you with the details, but you can replace “snow banks” with “curbs”.
