Hey guys. Heading down BC 24 soon. As far as I can tell it’s a road with nothing on it except where I am headed.
Anyone been on it? Sadly for me it will be the middle of the night when I hit it.
I don’t think there’s much for towns on it.
Little Fort where it starts and even that’s not large enough to be a town in it’s own right.
Anyways, I hate hitting new highways in the middle of the night so I’ll take any first hand knowledge.
Pic of my Mustang for your time.

I’ve been on it several times. There’s basically nothing between Little Fort and 100 mile. Just trees and road.

That’s what I thought. Sort of like in between Mcbride and Prince George. Nothing but trees.
What’s it signed at?

Signed as in speed limit? I THINK it’s around 80 kph, but I’m not quite sure. Might be 60 or 70.

Aight thanks. 80 is slow.

Nothing there, and it’s signed really slow for most cars. Run a detector and keep an eye out for deer.

I often head up to Bridge Lake in the summer time. It’s an 80kph road with few passing lanes. I get frustrated because I want to drive in the corners but always get stuck behind some guy pulling a trailer at 60kph. Lots of lakes, trees and a small town or two.
If your driving at night you won’t see anything, it’s pitch black and lots of deer and moose walking about. be careful.

Thanks! That sounds like the section of 5 in between Barriere and Jasper lol. Always stuck behind some damn RV.
On the way back it should be daylight.
I’ll bet there’s a lot of animals to hit especially this time of year. I’ll probably keep it slow then.

I only drove it as far as Horse Lake road, not quite out the otherside, but it
’
s mostly signed at 90 with slower sections right in Little Fort and around Interlakes market. That is a hell of a hill on the Little Fort side. Good gravy, you go up for like 15 minutes. Coming back I didn
’
t use the accelerator pedal for a good 7
-
8 minutes.
