With a Brexit at hand we (“ze Germans”) ran into some Anglo limousines while driving a tour with the local Porsche dealer. One of the Rolls-Royces had “Duchess” as it’s (Belgian) license plate. What a contrast, both in cars and public...

Woooow Thats amazing. I respect the hell out of that. 410k is a lot more than most cars ever see.
I still prefer your 3.2 though.

Totally. And I prefer the 3.2 as well, but DD’ing a Boxter GTS would be no punishment whatsoever.
Robbert owns an ‘81 930 as well btw. True hero...

Awesome. Those Rollses don’t look happy. Ze Germans are always getting up in their grilles. Were they out on a drive, too, or were they just sitting around like usual having tea and crumpets?

They were rolling, not driving. They probably rolled more than we did: They were all Belgians!
This 20/25 was quite impressive!

It’s no wonder they came to Holland, then. I wouldn’t want to drive one of those on Belgian roads.
Yeah, that one is really lovely. The 2 doors are so petite for an old Rolls. 20/25 is horsepower, right?

Haha, even a Rolls would probably fall apart there! According to the owner the 20/25 is one of the best cars ever built when it comes to durability. He drove it like he stole it. Nice to see with such a prewar.
Fiscal Horsepower. 25hp would be too little with a weight of what: 2 tonnes?

Well, I guess being Belgian, that’s the Rolls to have then. I saw a Model A the other day. Not as snazzy as a Rolls-Royce, but it always cool to see a car of that era driving around.
It would be pretty damn slow, that’s for sure. I think it was 65bhp. That’s still not a lot. It was only 3700cc. It did weigh 3800lbs, I guess depending on which body was on it. I bet it still feels like a freight train when it eventually gets up to speed.
