Don’t know the area very well, except that you’re within walking distance of at least half a dozen breweries and brewpubs.
It’s weird, I’ve lived in the northwest corner of Toronto all my life and I know the surrounding areas far better than my own city.

For live music, head to the Horseshoe, for good food, try Barrio Correano on Dupont, for awesome beers, go to WVRST. Have fun in the big city!

Hey, you asked. Although with a 10% on RT, I might suggest you watch something else.

Happens everywhere. Most people never do the “tourist thing,” especially if they’ve lived there a long time. I can’t believe how many of my friends and neighbors have never done, say, the Top 10 things on TripAdvisor.

then do it up. once you’re down there it wont take long to either be offered or find some one to point you where to go. there’s tons of small eateries down there too. waiters some times will sell or will at least help you out as to where to go. there are some places that will have a guy just waiting for customers to show up.. have fun!
google: hotbox Toronto... if you want a more direct route. but this place can be hit or miss. but it’s a starting point.

True enough. That said, there’s so much to do in the city I still find it weird. Of course, that may be different if I lived on the east side of the City... most of the interesting stuff seems concentrated there. The west side is a wasteland as far as interesting stuff goes, imo.

WVRST is good but I think Bier Markt has a better, broader selection.

It’s a Monday Night, so a lot of the good stuff is closed. So here are some suggestions...
Or you can catch a movie at the Scotiabank theatre just west of you
And if you haven’t done it already, you can go up the CN Tower... and eat at the spinning restaurant...

You could get a tattoo nearby at Adrenaline Tattoo.
Or if you’re willing to go on a bit of a TTC ride, you could go to the Subspace Dungeon Studio...

If you’re still in Toronto, you can get another tattoo of an alternator...
