This J80 is the best and last sketch I did all weekend. Took the longest, too!

I did end up overlanding to and from the expo by fatbike. Also met some cool people and made a few bucks. Here are a few sketches I did at the event. Check me out at !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and on !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

Not all the sketches came out the way I’d have liked, but that’s life. It’s good to see the smiles on people’s faces either way.

All-Terrain Vehicles: a brief history

I actually cheated on Saturday night and threw the bike in a car for the way back, but today was all human power. Flagstaff’s Urban Trail System (“FUTS”) is quite vast, and I’ve wanted to ride this route since I moved here. However, it’s a ten mile journey each way, there are almost no trail signs, and neither Google nor my physical FUTS map is entirely accurate.

I got lost heading out on Saturday. I got lost coming home today. I’ll try to tell myself it’s a fun lost . But it’s still lost. Hopefully with trial and error I’ll learn the way. The signage and maps sure aren’t helpful.

Ahh. Well, thank you.

I normally charge $40 but have been doing a 25% off deal at events lately. They each take about an hour, or closer to 90 minutes with mud tires, tents and details.

Yeah three II’s and one 800. The white one and the Trail Monkey are on JK frames. White has a Cummins, TM a GM V8. I’m not sure about the others. There was a stock looking, g<3rgeous green II and a yellow II with brown side panel. I’ll comment with pics when i get on the computer later.

Looking forward to it, I think you’ve gotten the kind of jibe of the place. The only things that are frowned on are the obvious things (personal attacks, spam, etc) as well as just pimping your own off site brand too hard. We want to hear what you are up to in your other ventures, but its not about another board to copy pasta kinda of thing. In any event, can’t want to see some more stuff!
