Someone's pranking me with these NY transit buses.

You know how I saw that brand new !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! driving randomly through northern Illinois? Well, it happened again...on the same darn road!!

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

No SR20 this time (dead phone) but I clearly read “Suffolk Transit” on the bus and the bus had the same exact livery as the below photo. It might have even been the same exact model of bus too.

Kinja'd!!!

Now this bus was dirty, had a teensy bit of rust on the wheels and had some soot on it, so it wasn’t brand new like the last one. And again, it had Arizona plates like the brand new bus back in 2015.

Alright, I can’t be the only one seeing this, why are these buses going through Chicago? And mind you, the highway it was traveling on started off as a state route going deep into the suburbs. If it were going cross country it wouldn’t be on said highway. It instead would be farther east on I-94, not IL-53.

Pardon me while I pull out my hair.

Update: Doing some more research, these buses are built in Minnesota. That explains the new MTA bus. Maybe the Suffolk bus needed extensive repair or something? Still, why was it taking the worst route to get through Chicago? And why the Arizona plates???

Kinja'd!!!

I saw one of these driving on the road next to my house. Thing is, I’m about 7 hours from the Utah border.

Probably either training, or some convention of some sort.

When I was at the DJT’s inauguration there were police cars from all over the country. I spotted at least a couple from Florida and numerous from NY/PA.

Maybe but I live nowhere near anything. Doubt there’s a police convention at the border of BFE and Timbucktwo

Could be, maybe the driver was visiting family?

I, I don’t even know. :O Also, I love how much Utah really loves beehives.

The bee hive is a mormon thing.

It would probably suck ass though.

Especially since most State Police agencies don’t use partitions and spec their cars with cloth seats and carpet. Yes, it doesn’t make sense.

Oh, and you have to ride shotgun with your arrestee. Sounds fun right?

Usually, there’s a 50~ mile radius thing in effect for personal use of assigned vehicles.
