Holy hell is the suspension setup absolutely beautiful. I can’t even... I’m... just... flabbergasted. Fack.
Sorry, I took no pictures because I’m a lame ass.

Don’t lie, your hands were too busy to be operating any sort of device that takes pictures.

The suspension is freaking awesome, it’s a shame that what makes the truck special is lost on most people.
I was geeking out at the auto show about the portal axles, and people around me were like “WTF are those?”

Shhh, don’t tell my boss.

Too late. Already left the shop!

Yeah no kidding. Most of the stuff on this thing looks like custom one-off hand made pieces for a major auto show, but functional! The salesmen were all geeking out about the looks and price and I’m down on my hands and knees looking under its skirt.

Portal axles are neat, but they mean added complexity, cost, and weight for limited benefits.

Hey my local dealer just got one too!

Such a cool car. I’ve yet to see one in person.

This isn’t an anytime soon purchase, but how unreliable are the early 2000's G500's?

I have yet to see one of these, but as I see a Bentayga every several days, it is just a matter of time. I might not want to know about the future owner, all on the up and up no doubt,

I love how massive it is!

It’s a Mercedes. Cost and complexity are par for the course. It’s a G-wagen. They’re not light to begin with. The ground clearance is insane for a factory vehicle, you could do push ups under this thing.

Definitely worth checking out when you have the chance.

Entire drivetrain is pretty solid. Might see some minor to middling leaks here and there. Might encounter some door latch or window issues at some point. If you’re really unlucky you’ll get stupid electrical problems.
It’s the one I would go with. Even over a 63 if cost weren’t an object. Though a 55 could be good too. Like with any used Mercedes, get a pre purchase inspection and find the cleanest one with the best service history you can find.

No doubt. Ours is sold already. So yeah, shouldn’t take you long.

I’m 5'11" and this is eye level for me, I can barely see in the side windows.

When I saw it at the car show it was huge. Even though this girl was small it’s still a massive car.
