Yesterday I was sitting at a red light in the left turn lane in my lowered BMW coupe, when the Chevy Silverado behind me honked at me. I had to crane my head around a random sign in the median that turned out was blocking my view of the left turn arrow.
Sure enough, I had a green arrow, and was none the wiser, because of my stupid too-low BMW. (Or, whoever put that sign there thinking nobody has a car as low as mine and didn’t realize that someone at the front of the line in the left turn lane wouldn’t be able to see the left turn arrow over this sign.)

Is this some kind of entering and exiting competition?

I think it’s to see who can drive their impossible to drive car the best.

This could be a bit on the grand tour. The 3 each have to buy a car and then ruin (stance, etc.) it as much as possible within a budget, and then just try to do normal every day things. Enter/Exit parking lots, drive up/down parking garage ramps, absorb potholes, go over speed bumps.
