So that truck looks over 3 tons to me. Though frankly given how heavy passenger vehicles are today, the bridge probably needed to be replaced regardless.

A bridge near me rated at 40T collapsed thanks to a truck pulling a crane (and avoiding the toll road)

Best line on the whole thing was from a county rep that said (paraphrasing), “Truckers should be reminded that the toll road is significantly cheaper than the fines and bills from incidents like this.”

Trucker’s not knowing their route really bothers me. Basically negligence, it’s your job to drive, not just some casual random pleasure cruise, how can you not check the route before hand?
