There are so many out there you have to be a bit selective. I just wish I had pictures from an old office back at LAX; the shortcuts taken there could put a lot of these to shame.

The first one is the carpet, someone chose it and the installer doesn’t give a fuck, they ordered it. I do shows and people order graphics, I have seen some dumb choices. But he have to put it up and if they change it we go back and get paid again.

That’s cool stuff! Somehow reminds me of the goofy camo that manufacturers put on prototypes, I suppose for somewhat similar reasons (to obscure the lines of the vehicle).

Some people can visualize these things in advance, some cannot. Then the installer is left with ‘welp, they picked it’. And, as you said, gets paid to do it over when the designer realizes the mistake they made...

Well they may have used that carpet on the floor and it was just ordered for the stairs as well. We get stuff to a show and see that it doesn’t work in the real world, then it’s MacGyver time.

Yeah we go all night sometimes. The superbowl here in SF was terrible, they printed the graphics in some places badly and we had to just go around the clock.
