I really like steel wheels, especially on modern cars, and especially when someone put some thought into designing them.
I mean, I want to get some of these.
I think leather is the second worst seat material. Breathable cloth is far superior.
I believe that the new Corolla looks exactly 1,000 times better than the new Civic, and I wouldn’t mind owning one.
I think drifting is fun to watch.
Speed Racer is one of my favorite car movies and I own it on Blu-Ray.
And now you know. Feel free to unburden yourself of similar secrets in the comments if needed.

A agree with 80% of these. The steel wheels on the VW Beetle Classic look amazing.

I wouldn’t mind owning an Accord.
I think the slant-nose 911 is worse looking than the melted egg eyed 911.
While a manual would be fun, owning a car with an automatic makes sense.

I was with you until Corolla... but then I thought.... “I don’t like the Civic either”.

I like that angle of the Corolla. The front is still a problem for me.

I’ve sat in two of the newer Corolla’s (Corolli?) much to my own dismay, and they’re horrible to be in. I imagine driving them is even worse.
I’ve also driven a new auto Dart (horrible, just so bad all around) and ridden in a new Civic that, while ugly, was the nicest to ride in of all the above. Other than that, I have nothing nice to say about it and would much rather own a new 3 hatchback to any of the above options. With leather seats, because I’m fancy.

I disagree with two of these, but I support your openness.

I sorta like these:
Because they remind me of these:

“B” stands for “Beige”, doesn’t it?
;)

Actually, it stands for BROWN.
But seriously, I may be one of the more boring people on Oppositelock.

I like bright chrome wheels on most cars.
I think V8s are on their way out for the most part.
While I don’t mind rowing my own gears in a weekend car (which I don’t have), there’s no way in hell I’d DD one.
Miatas suck.
I prefer straight line acceleration to cornering abilities.
Come at me.

I can’t drive manual anymore, but even if I could, I’d still buy an auto.
I don’t like modern Ferraris.
I’ve owned FWD and RWD cars and don’t have a preference.
I binge watch Phineas and Ferb with my daughter and do Doofinschmitz impressions to make her laugh.

Boring? Nah.

I supported your rights up until that Speed Racer comment. Now all your opinions are questionable. C’mon man, they ruined a perfectly lovable part of my childhood. I mean, it’s not as bad as what Hollywood did to the Lone Ranger, but it’s pretty close.

Speed Racer is the most animeic live action movie ever made. I don’t understand the complaint.

Very brave.

Exactly. It’s an acceptance of low budget, but also an effort toward sport. That’s pretty much my whole life.

YOLO.

The complaint is: It was an awful movie.

Right right, but not because it was a huge departure from the show. The show planted those seeds of psychotic colors and zany action.

I would star all your opinions except for the V8 comment. LS swap everything, except LT1/LT4s

The V8 statement is less an opinion and more an observation. As V6 (and even I4) engines have become more efficient, they have displaced V8s. The Ford F-150. The Cadillac line up (with exception to the CTS-V and Escalade). The Expedition/Navigation. It’s all starting to change.
