19Bozzy92 has just uploaded video of one of Michael Schumacher’s 2004 F1 cars running during a recent Ferrari client event at Monza.

That sound. The sound of those screaming engines is the very reason I got hooked on F1 back in the day.

I’m sure it would grenade pretty quickly, but could you imagine an aerobatic plane like a Sukhoi or Extra that was powered by one of these things?

If there’s any one race car I want to drive the most, it’s the F2004. Michael Schumacher wielded that much power the way Guts did with his giant-ass sword, and I wonder just how does it feel like to wield the same.

I’ve only been to one F1 race (Austin 2013). The sound was my first and lasting memory. When the cars came out on practice day I was sitting against the wall super hungover with my buddy. We looked at each other with an odd glance, because I felt the cars in my chest a solid 1-3 seconds before I heard the sound.
And what a sound! I headed straight for a gear booth to get plugs, saying “these cars are way louder than I expected.” My buddy spent our high school years playing his guitar in his room 3 feet away from a Marshall stack that he could have put on a concert with. So he sat though bare eared... I couldn’t do it.
