All this back and forth on smog and he’s only now adjusting the valves? The fuck? Adjusting valves and changing the oil (to eliminate dilution) are damn near job 1 on an old car that is close to passing. And what parts could it need for that? They’re adjustable rockers.

Wait! So we are already passed the whole engine work thing and the valves are just now being adjusted? I would have had that done when the cover was off in the first place. Or before any attempt at smog or driving, cause why not?
