Does anybody have a spare Shelby GT500 vent laying around? Or A better Suggestion.
It’s shocking how good they look on a GVR-4, and you can pick them up for about 100 bucks. But still seems like a lot of money for a bit of plastic. I’m going to call my local Ford dealer tomorrow and see what price they give me.
However if anyone has a better suggestion for a hood scoop that I can cut and paste into my hood, I’m open to suggestions. But I do want to keep it simple.
Also i found a decent how-to on a DIY skid plate so maybe that’ll happen this weekend!

My coworker did this for his track car R32, it works really well to keep underhood temps down and looks good. On another note, I saw a badass green VR4 on Monday, lowered just a bit on some nice looking anthracite wheels.

If I ever repaint mine it’ll be that green. They only came in green, white, or black. Mine is black so I’m right in the middle, not the coolest, not the worst.

What about the Evo 8/9 hood vent?

Nah, I need a vent not a scoop. I’m going to be adding a skid plate so I need sit out of the engine Bay, trying to shove more air into it wound really do anything
