Immature review by Jkm with lots of cuss words

So... RCR style? Sounds good!

Well, I cuss a lot more and I cussed a lot before RCR.

I cursed a lot, then I joined the oil field. Now I work at a chemical plant where “shut the fuck up” is probably the most common phrase I hear.

Confirmed: jkm replacing the VW with an Impala.

I can’t imagine driving a 4 banger Impala and not cussing a lot.

Wait. They sell these with 4-cylinders?

I’ve gone with the assumption that they had the 3.6 V6 as standard.

Haha, solid no on that.

Yup, they sell the highest volume with the 4cyl IIRC.

They sell that boat with a sub-200hp engine? That sounds like it wouldn’t even move forward unless you beat the hell out of it.

The kick down is ridiculous. You hit the gas, nothing happens, then the engine overrevs itself and if you let off the gas, it’ll violently recoil.

That’s impressively bad. I wouldn’t be surprised by that behaviour with a 4 speed auto, but a 6 speed auto shouldn’t be that bad, at least I would think

Yeah it was interesting for sure.

It’s a shame really, I love the way they look.

3.6 or bust. The 2.5 is infinitely better than the 2.4 it replaced but it’s not up to moving that heavy car in any sort of hurried manner. My parents wouldnt even look at any Impala unless it had the V6.

Still better than this I guess... with a full 200 lbs more.

I had a Malibu on a trip a few weeks back and I thought it was a very good car. I wonder if your Impala has the same engine. Impala will always be my favorite sedan, even though it has lousy front seats and the high-feature V6 likes to dine on its own timing chain. 300 horsepower...

True, but I imagine that V6 had some torque at least

We got a rental with a 3.6, and that was already slow. I can’t imagine what it must be like with the 4-cyl.
