Trying to identify this tree/shrub that lines my backyard. Clusters of 3/4 stems/saplings sprout up together, but really most or all have an interconnected root system. New saplings sprouting up all over. Any ideas what it is?

Just the sound of it makes me think honeysuckle but I couldn’t be sure without seeing a leaf.

Looks like Lilac to me. Broad heart-shaped leaf with shallow root system? Does it flower purple with a fibrous type bark?

We have something here that I only know as “tree of heaven” that matches that description. If that’s it, it’s a beast to kill and it ruins everything.
