This box is a logitech revue. I picked on up at the Goodwill Outlet yesterday for about a buck.

Before buying it I did a quick search online to see what it is and whether it’s worth a dollar. Now that I’ve done that I’m getting targeted ads on the front page for the item I just bought, but that’s not my concern. Below, for your enjoyment, is the box Amazon now wants to sell me:

Yup - that’s a box, although it isn’t branded. And that keyboard is not part of the Revue, but was another item I spotted at the Outlet (keyboard was missing and the only part I found was the base station).

I guess that, until I look at another product on Amazon, they’ll keep trying to sell me a basic brown cardboard box. Thanks, but I’ve got plenty of cardboard boxes...

I just read about this on my Apple Newton, but then the battery died, so I cranked up some Boston on my MiniDisc player and sat down and played on my Turbografx 16.

I know it’s ancient, and by extension probably crap, but I’d spend that much on a bag of pretzels out of the vending machine so it’s not like I wasted a bunch of money. I just want to experiment and see how bad it is and how it compares to modern media boxes, and maybe harvest it for parts...
