Also, while continuing to shit on the quality of this truck, well the entire generation, what the fuck is this:
The door on this uncrashed truck is out of line. There is a gap from the back.
One more, who the fuck designed the hood release on this pile of shit? If you have something larger than a child’s foot, you can unlatch the hood while taking off the parking brake.

Did you notice that the steering wheel isn’t centered to the driver’s seat yet? My GMT800 makes more noises than my 95 Disco, I like it better than the 900 though. And the driveline is fantastic. My father-in-law’s friend had an 03 Suburban w the 5.3 that died recently ... 490,000 miles.

The 800 was a good truck, the 900 is terrible.

Glad to see that even in their most expensive vehicles, GM is still being GM.

I’d say that the interior was designed by a blind man, but I think a blind man could make a more intuitive layout. The door handles are what really piss me off. Why do I need to reach down for the door handle like it’s a roll up window crank?
Also the loaded up models have an annoying mix of “brushed aluminum” and “chrome” finishes. You can have one or the other, not both.

These door handles are at arm rest level.

I prefer my 900 to any 800 I’ve driven *shrug*

Have not had any of these issues on our 2012 LT model. I actually realy like the truck and wish I had the $$$ to buy it when my company sells it. It’s the 2500 HD with the duramax so it will probably still be a $30k truck when they sell it.

Our Duramax (different truck) is a pile of shit. That’s why I’m in this one. We don’t want to inject a few more grand into it(we’re at $15k in repairs so far).

Glad you mentioned the seats, we had one of these as a company truck, and somewhere around 75 mph the passenger seat (and I’m assuming the driver if I wasn’t sitting in it) hit a harmonic and you could watch it vibrate at least 1/2" - 3/4" in both directions.
