One of my favorite parts of a trip to Arizona is seeing classic cars with clean bodies everywhere. Increasingly, analog vehicles are becoming beautiful in the same way record players and old bicycles are. Even bland ones like a Renault sedan.

I will take a patina covered Renault sedan everytime over a self driving, electric steering car with a automatic transmission and no oil dipstick.

Fun facts! Aside from the Dauphine being rear engined, the three speed auto was a push button setup. The Dauphine was also the basis for the Henney Kilowatt, built in the US from 1959-60.

I love it. I’d DD it without touchy the exterior

That’s a very odd way to rust. Usually it starts from the bottom and works up and out.

Sun damage to the paint causing it to degrade on the top and let what little moisture there is in?
