Sometime between when I switched to mostly streaming and when The Kinks weren’t on streaming services, they went and released a whole bunch of deluxe versions of albums with new stereo and mono mixes. I can highly recommend all of these, because The Kinks are great.

That is indeed an excellent song.

Have you ever listened to the Def Leppard cover from their 2005 covers album “Yeah!”? If not, I certainly recommend it. They don’t spoil the song by any means, instead giving it a nod of respect with a smooth, modern rock sound.
