Long time since something like this was available at this Ford dealer.
Assuming that it’s a basic one, the spec includes:
2.0 carburettor engine with 100 bhp
Four speed manual ‘box
Windy up windows
Manual locking
Radio, possibly with a cassette player
Vinyl roof was probably extra
May have had power steering, but then again may not

Funny that if it wasn’t for that car and the license plates that could very well be a US Ford dealer.

Dealers are dealers. Most of the models on view are sold in the US as well, although your Transit Connects come with spark plugs.
As it happens, a Mustang drove by just after I took the picture.
Now, can you spot the other vehicle that was never sold in North America?

Easy to see why they never tried selling that thing here...

I have nothing but fond memories of the car but, yes, it was pretty horrible

Was that the one that the ads claimed looked like a Mercedes?

The silver van next to the older Transit Connect?

Possibly, but I was thinking of the Transit with “Flooring” on the side.
It’s one of these:

Oh, NOW I see it. I just passed it off as one of the newer ones.
