This cute little VW was on our street this morning. Looks to be nearing the final stages of restoration. Looks like a Type 3 but I don’t know year or anything else.

Ooh, the fastback even. You see the squareback a lot more often, at least in my neck of the woods.

Not a fan of the front headlight mods but the rest looks good. I would guess 70 but lot’s of changes make it harder to tell, turns and tails say 1970.

66. Low backs until 68. No reverse lights until 67. Turn signals later rather than earlier. Odd rear deck cover treatment. I still own a 67 sqbk purchased in 78.
