Volvo V50 R-Design. Hot damn.

This looks good, yet dated. So 2000s.

It’s a pretty classic look though. The only things that haven’t aged gracefully are those aero bits around the bottom.

Oh, absolutely. I’m just saying that if you showed someone this car who knew very little about cars, they could probably get pretty close to the model year.

Very cool aren’t they?! Found one near me but rough condition for the price. Volvo needs to make a entry level priced car again. They’re doing great on the higher priced stuff, lovin the stuff they’ve got these days

it’s certainly aged very well

Very cool looking. I’ve been flirting with the idea of buying a manual C30/S40/V50.
I agree, they should bring the V40 to this side of the pond or make a smaller S60 for the North American market (the sedan might sell better than a hatch).

I’d guess they’d like to have a new S40/V40 (probably doesn’t make any sense to bring the current one over at this point). I just hope they stay far away from their most recent small car concept. This is not an attractive vehicle:

I know. I wish I could find one with a stick in decent shape. I’d give up my C30 R-Design for it so my mother would stop complaining about it being a two door every time my parents visit.
