The RallyMetro rides for the first time tomorrow!! I am very excite!!!!!

There’s only 22 drivers registered for tomorrow, so I should be able to get a bunch of runs in.

I highly recommend that. I do not recommend trying rallycross in a vehicle that you need to use to get to work the next day.

haha i wasnt planning on it, the only vehicle i would try is currently motorless, although using my dads ridgeline could be interesting

No, I decided to spend a bit of money and get a Bell. When I researched helmets, everybody said to go to an actual brick and mortar store and try them on, so I did. I got mine from Northstar Motorsports in Barrington.

Yeah, these were the only auto racing safety supplier I could find in the area. There was a drag racing speed shop I found in Joliet that might have had helmets as well, their website was rather vague. Barrington is a little closer for me, so that’s where I went. Super nice people there. You could probably get away with a motorcycle helmet, nobody there checked mine, but I decided that if I was going to take the plunge on a helmet, I’d get one that was Snell rated. Those are accepted by everybody.
