I saw someone load one of these into one of these

Kinja'd!!!

Yes, a Ford Fiesta sedan had a steel framed pool box shoved in it. The rear suspension wasn’t even phased either, the car sagged less than an inch. I have no idea what kind of black magic German car engineers use but I was freaking impressed.

Kinja'd!!!

there is a really cool mythbusters episode where they recreate this photo. it was surprising how they could drive and not explode the struts through the housings.

Well, I have to admit that this makes moving one of these:

inside of one of these:

seem relatively easy by comparison.

I once fit a double bed frame, a dresser, 4 pillows and some other rando stuff in a Cobalt coupe. Go IKEA!

Right? A small hatchback is impressive but a sedan? I wouldn’t have bet on that!

Nope, box was too big for the trunk opening and the back seat pass through. It fit through the rear door and perfectly fit in the back seat

Well that’s why it didn’t sag, the weight was distributed evenly

I mean yes, but that thing wasn’t light at all, they had to use a mechanically lifting dolly to raise it up to the car.

It was really cool and one of those really surprising ones where it didn’t happen like I’d thought.
