I’m still amazed there is no 4 GC with a manual. To me it makes more sense than a 3 with a manual, yet the 3 4-door gets one, the 4 2-door gets one and the 3 and 4 5-doors don’t.

Also remaining manuals are diminishing too. right now it’s restricted to 40i models. If you want a 4-cyl manual, you’ll have to talk to Cadillac.

420d (the only model usually sold)

420i

430i

I could get one. Indeed I would, if I suddenly found myself affluent, have a choice of three engines with the manual box. You, maybe not so much.

Interesting. I’m pretty sure it was never available on any trim in the US. But here we can still get a manual on the 3 sedan with any engine (maybe not with xDrive though). Very few dealers stock them - you can see pretty quickly the 3 or 4 dealer in the US that cater to enthusiasts with an AutoTrader search for 3er manauls. But you can order them still. Interestingly, in the US Audi is now offering the A4 2.0T with a manual (only on quattro models).

The 430i Gran Coupe has been emissions certified with the manual in the US for a few years now yet they don’t make it available.

...Or maybe you can special order it and no one knows you can...
