Who names their car Griffith?

Perhaps the world was trying to tell you something.

Well there was no need to shout!

That’s the company that did the mod. ImmoralMinority’s Sunchaser is a Celica coupe with most of the roof chopped up, by Griffith.

Actually that’s when you SHOULD go. Check for top leaks.

Did you go anyway? I would say that the weather was doing you a favour. You could start finding the leaks in the roof and seals BEFORE you buy the car.

I was being a wise guy, but I actually did not know that was the company that did the Sunchaser conversion, so thanks. Is the cloth top electric or all manual?

IM would be the one to ask, but I’d bet tree fiddy it’s manual

That’s a very good point. But, I realized that I would end up soaked and depressed, and that would put anything I drove in a bad light.

I did not. You make a good point. But, I would end up soaked and not able to try it out with the top down. Knowing myself as I do, I’d come away with a bad impression having nothing to do with the poor car.
So, we went to the science museum instead.

I can’t tell from some quick searching, but I bet you’re right.

This is the first thing you discover as a convertible owner: the weather is not on your side. A 15% chance of rain means it isn’t going to rain... unless you take the convertible, then it will. You take the good with the bad...
