Star this post (not this comment, the post) if you want Oppositelock to become a flower blog.

Some random, “Where did those come from?” tulips bloomed next to our driveway today.

I had a few of those sunflowers a couple years ago. Someone actually walked up my driveway and snipped the flowers off and they never came back :(
I should try some in the backyard because I bet the feral cats will keep the squirrels from eating the seeds.

Why would anyone snip flowers

Some creepy kid cut some roses off a neighbor’s porch to give me once, maybe it was him?

You gotta watch out for that shit. Last year someone living in a town up north was stealing everyone’s potted plants in my all of my town. Such a shitty thing to do. This isn’t an affluent area, and may not be the nicest of homes, everyone does their own landscaping.

That’s crazy! Thought I bet if folks bothered with potted plants here they might disappear too. Someone stole my last hammock from the front porch. (Doggo did not even notice).

You and I have quite a bit in common. We are not living the Miller HiLife.

The salmon colored flowers on the ugly bush look like a flowering quince.
The plant photobombing the dandelion is a hardy cyclamen.
The plants in the photo with the dog... do those produce a white sap when a stem or leaf is broken? That may be a Euphorbia of some type... maybe Euphorbia lathyris

That’s some kind of blossoming tree or vine. You are welcome.
