What ever happened to that Torque Affair guy? He ended up on FP, but don’t think I’ve seen much from him lately.

Nice car. Sounds great. Would love to own one.

Wouldn’t show up to a track day in one expecting to pass any M car.

Idk, along with 90% of Oppo, I’ve driven neither.

Very solid first effort from Lexus but no manual, so it automatically loses (HA puns). Plus the E90 is one of the best looking sedans of all time, not quite as classy as the E39 M5 but it is aggressive without being ostentatious.

I still think the M3 is the better car in nearly every way... but I’m more likely to buy one of these if I had the money, because my wife is less scared of Lexus reliability than BMW.

The e90 is really pretty but its just a shame the e92 is perfection so I would never get one

Honestly if the g8 was just 3/4 size it would still be the go to sports sedan deal today. I have driven a G8 GT though and it didnt feel too large

I might have to agree. I haven’t driven either and I can pretty much assume the Beemer drivers better, but and this is a big but, the people who drive them here is socal have forever turned me away from wanting a bmw. The 4 wheeled variety anyways

There is one thing impressive about the IS-F...the auto.

During it’s review on Best motoring, the track performance of the auto was really astonishing. It put the engine in the powerband exactly when you’d need it. It also shifted at the redline and not a moment before. The Camaro on the same track had the auto and you could tell it was dogging the car the whole way around the track.

After watching that, I genuinely don’t feel the IS-F loses anything for not being available with 3 petals.

Damn shame they were so rare + barely depreciated. They’re really cool, but not $35k for a 7 year old car cool.
