2. Rarely

3. Less than number 2

4. Probably somewhat often, but I don’t notice them.

8. I don’t know.

I actually see those Capris pretty often. My guess is they were popular here in the mid-west because people were still stuck in a “buy American” mindset so they bought them instead of Del Sols, Miatas, Celicas, or 240SXs.

As American as the ol’ red, white and blue:

Kinja'd!!!

Like some friends of mine that bought a Routan because they didn’t want one of those crappy, unreliable Chrysler minivans...

#2 is actually an FC RX-7:

Kinja'd!!!

I spent quite a bit of time driving a convertible version in the ‘80s. Great car.

That’s the funniest thing I’ve ever heard. I have a few I’d who is a VW, guy but he bought a Chrysler Town & Country because he found that generally the Routan is less reliable.

Lucky! It’s still my favorite RX- x after all these years, probably because of that one I got to cruise around in. One cool boss - she even let me borrow the V12 XJ-S convertible she bought after the FC.
