Just got back from a quick trip into one of my favorite national parks and Im here for a quick and definitive guide on how to say Zion.

Zion (Zi’en) like Lion - The National Park full of really amazing stuff located in south central Utah.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Zion - (Zi On) Like Ion - some freaky post apocalyptic mosh pit having city.

ZIONS (Zi’ens) Like Lions - More than one Zion, there is no “S” in Zion National Park. (Also a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , may or may not be full of idiots)

Luve me some Iron Lion Zion.....

I was on the Lowe Route a few years back and as the sun was setting on our third night on the wall, I heard a guy, who was soloing a route a couple of hundred feet to our right, slip and fall at the top..... Heard him scream for over a thousand feet before he cratered..............

Yeah, it was wierd..... I remember hearing him scream for a while before it got silent... Yeah, dead vertical sandstone big walls not the zone you wanna screw up in....

Another Zion story— some buddies were doing another route on Angel’s Landing, right by the Lowe Route- they’re bivying on a ledge for the night but a rat lived on the ledge and was driving them crazy, trying nonstop to get into all the food etc.....

They’re eating dinner on the ledge, and Bill had left his empty refried beans can on the ledge next to him. All of sudden it started moving— the rat was inside the can. So Bill flicked the can off the ledge into the air, 800-900 feet off the deck... haha.

This is a picture I took in October near the shuttle stop. Love that place, but I don’t go often enough even though it’s only 30 minutes away.
