One of these things.

A Starlet P80. They were everywhere once.

Bonus Starlet P90 just to the left of the van (third gen Transit). Also bonus Seat Cordoba and Citroen C3.

WRC Cordoba is best Cordoba.

This particular car is one of my favorite racing liveries of all time:

Somehow Starlets seem to be the Japanese cars that survive here the longest. When I see a Japanese car from that era it usually is a Starlet. Very reliable, cheap to run and not as popular for export to Africa.

We used to have a lot of JDM turbo models like this, but then they vanished because rust, age and insurance difficulties for the kind of people who liked them.

We didn’t get those in LHD markets. Only the granny cruisers.

Odd. I thought Japanese cars were a big thing in Australia.

I suppose it was too small for the market.
