Paul Clark’s finished/buttoned up 2JZ Saturn Sky seems to be making the rounds on Facebook, especially after !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Oppo thoughts on a 2JZ Sky? His build is tempting me to go out and buy a trashed Sky and use all my leftover 2JZ parts from the MK4 to build something similar. More pics:
I still really miss my Saturn and would love to own one again...

An LS swap would be easier, cheaper, and better.

And at least an engine from the same manufacturer...

This car is awesome, and Paul is such a great guy. So glad to see his hard work is getting noticed.

Well Toyota and GM had a partnership so it kinda is.

Maybe not because I thought 2JZs bolted right to these cars’ transmissions?

Apparently the bellhousing from the r154 bolts up to the Aisin AR series transmission used in the Solstice/Sky. That means the real only fabrication you’d have to do is making engine mounts. The hard part would be getting the engine and ECU to play nice with the gauge cluster.

I wouldn’t know anything about that, I am a patriot who owns a 100% AMERICAN GM Pontiac Vibe.

And a million times un-cooler.
