False, you will be sent to the Kinja re-education camp.

That’s not a taco, that is garbage.
![]() 04/09/2017 at 15:26 |

In ‘Merica it’s Gyro, but pronounced Euro.
![]() 04/09/2017 at 15:27 |

Tacos are fine, but gyros/doners are purpose made drunk food.
![]() 04/09/2017 at 15:27 |

Nein! Est ist ein Gyro!
(It’s been 6 years since I’ve taken German.)
![]() 04/09/2017 at 15:29 |

Other way around. Gyros are much higher quality than tacos.
![]() 04/09/2017 at 15:29 |

If you have authentic carne asada Mexican tacos, they’re godly. I can’t say gyros are as good.
So, for now,
![]() 04/09/2017 at 15:30 |

I didn’t even know Tacos were actually Mexican. I always though they were just Tex-Mex.
![]() 04/09/2017 at 15:30 |

Now I want some Euros for dinner, thanks.

Ne, je to döner kebab.
(It’s been 2 years since I’ve taken Czech.)

Y’all eat money? SMDH.

I though Czech didn’t use vowels?
![]() 04/09/2017 at 15:33 |

The ones I had were Mexican, at least. They were made by some family friends who are Mexican. It’s a family recipe. To this day, I hold them as the benchmark as far as tacos go.
![]() 04/09/2017 at 15:33 |

To be sure. But few foods are as good at soaking up excess alcohol at 3 AM as a bunch of lamb and a thick pita.
I’ve spent many drunken nights stumbling down sidewalks looking for an open doner shop.
![]() 04/09/2017 at 15:34 |

Sorry, but the Bolsheviks have completed their coup. Gyros are now the official food of Kinja.
![]() 04/09/2017 at 15:35 |

They don’t use unnecessary vowels. The language is entirely phonetic, it’s great.
![]() 04/09/2017 at 15:35 |
|
This actually makes a lot of sense. But gyros are still better than tacos while sober too.
![]() 04/09/2017 at 15:38 |
|
Then again, I’m sure there’s a Greek or Turkish family they makes just as delicious gyros.
![]() 04/09/2017 at 15:39 |

Don’t let that thumbnail confuse ya

![]() 04/09/2017 at 15:44 |

Man that’s like comparing pizza and burgers. You can’t diss neither. Both are amazing!
![]() 04/09/2017 at 15:46 |

One of the worst things that ever happened to me was when our local Greek delivery place closed. Everybody around here uses gyro loaf, this other place that closed used real lamb. It was so great.
![]() 04/09/2017 at 15:51 |

vhat das THE coup hav to du vis de Gyros?
![]() 04/09/2017 at 15:51 |

But only without garlic sauce. Believe me.
Just don’t.
![]() 04/09/2017 at 15:51 |

I never thought German would work so will in rap.
![]() 04/09/2017 at 15:52 |
|
Well you can compare them. They’re both meat, tomato, onions, and a sauce rapped in a single piece of bread. :p
![]() 04/09/2017 at 15:54 |
|
All the farm land is being collectivized and dedicated to lamb production.
![]() 04/09/2017 at 15:57 |

Authentic Mexican tacos > shawarma > tex mex tacos > gyros.
![]() 04/09/2017 at 15:58 |
|
*whispers......... they are called sheep.......
but taco bell isnt exacty a fair representation of taco.....er sandwich....... whatever.........
![]() 04/09/2017 at 16:07 |
|
But they don’t grow old enough to be adult sheep until they’re made into gyros. :p
![]() 04/09/2017 at 16:08 |

Here in the US, Gyro (yee-ear-oh) meat is mystery meat. Apparently, the same in Dublin:
![]() 04/09/2017 at 16:09 |

I unrespectfully dissagree.

Traditional mexican tacos aren’t those hard shell things.

![]() 04/09/2017 at 16:13 |

Well it’s still better than ground beef.:)
![]() 04/09/2017 at 16:14 |

I’m unrespectfully sending you to a re-education camp :p
![]() 04/09/2017 at 16:14 |

*pictured: not a taco
This is a taco
However if we’re just comparing dog food in a overgrown dorito to a good Gyro, I totally agree with you.
![]() 04/09/2017 at 16:14 |

no worries. it all sells.
BEEF GYROS HERE,....... GET YOUR BEEF GYROS.........
WE GOT BEEF, AND ITS “CHEEP”........
![]() 04/09/2017 at 16:17 |
|
After the land collectivization lamb meat will be cheap and beef will be to bourgeoisie to be produced.
![]() 04/09/2017 at 16:20 |
|
no worries, just have to make room for the new stock......
![]() 04/09/2017 at 16:50 |
|
I have to say if it were a taco it I like fish tacos. But I love gyros, I love lamb.
![]() 04/09/2017 at 18:38 |

Go to Torchy’s in Austin and then decide. Or heck any Taqueria in Houston.
![]() 04/09/2017 at 19:59 |

go to hell!
![]() 04/09/2017 at 20:10 |

No! But you’re going to the Gulag!
![]() 04/09/2017 at 20:30 |
|
not again. I hate that place.
![]() 04/09/2017 at 23:03 |

Sure, you can compare them. But for me, there’s no benifit to having some rank/preference for tacos and gyros because I like them both in different ways.
For example, crunchy tacos are awesome but you cant fuck one in a pinch. It crumbles too quickly and taco shards hurt lol
