Dodge has been teasing for too long, and Ford could show them how it’s done, like how they unveiled the GT.
Also, new GT500 rumor: N/A 7.0L.

TT 3.5 ecoboost. That’s what I want. (though a 7.0NA would be sick)

I still think the 3.5EB would be a good middle ground, especially now if rumors are true. 2.3EB: A slight bump over current power/torque, 3.5EB: 370-380hp/450-470tq, 5.0: 485hp/4xxtq

The 3.5 out of the GT makes a solid 650hp, I think it’d make an interesting combo with the 10 speed auto.

Yeah, it would.

Counterpoint: TT 7.0

“like how they unveiled the GT.”
And the RS

There were RS test cars found. AFAIK, there were none found for the GT.

True. Their reveal did totally smoke Honda’s reveal of the Type-R though

Yeah, I’d be surprised if it wasn’t the GT engine in a Mustang. Then again we were all surprised by the GT so I’ll hold out hope for a flat plane 7.0L lol

But nobody is talking about the GT500. The whole point of the demon is marketing the Dodge brand, which it is doing very well. Dealers are getting a ton of questions about the Demon. While very few people will buy it, the buzz is creating leads to sell regular Challengers, Chargers, and Durangos.

Nobody talked about the GT up until it was released. Immediately after the release, they are. Same with the Focus RS. 90% of people are just tired of hearing about it. People have already made faster Hellcats.

Damn, that would have me up the wall laughing.

That GT500 rumor makes me all kinds of happy... And I hope it happens... That is such a nice displacement... They just got to make it rev, and I bet that is going to be an accomplishment in itself!
