Reaching adulthood, you realize that the people that you admired as a teenager were not really admirable. Also it’s a time when you’re reminded that the really cool 23-year-old dude who hung out at the coffeeshop, played lots of chess, and talked down to people 5 years younger than him was just a pompous dickhead with a fragile ego who was trying to fuck 18 year old girls.

This is what I think when I see someone post G.O.A.T. on any social media platforms.
