I can’t see anything wrong with... wait a minute, is that sandwich wrap on the gas line acting like a heat shield? And why is the #1 spark plug wire jammed in the exhaust manifold?
Seems pretty clear to me the front’s fallen off. Totally unexpected. We should start a go-fund-me to have it towed out of the environment post-haste. :)

Because he’d rather struggle to get it there on its original motor rather than drop in a modern engine and drivetrain with hopefully better reliability.
His Jalopness is overpowering his engineering.
