Kids have spring break so next week is off. We are piling in to my wife’s Infiniti in thr morning with Toby and the kids and driving to a house we rented in Flagstaff. We are doing Sedona and Grand Canyon, but I would appreciate suggestions, especially dog friendly ones. I got what I needed to do done so I am clear to go.
Totally unrelated, I saw this Ghibli and a Lancer wagon.
My arm is feeling much better, and I am scheming how to convince my wife to bring the Vespa. Bad plan? Probably, but that is how I roll.

Sunset crater and wupatki national monument were pretty neat too.
If you have car trouble avoid 7 Day Auto.

I know you’ll have the car, but the train ride from Willams to the South Rim is pretty awesome.

I remember the arboretum at flagstaff being a kinda neat outdoor thing. The train from Williams to the South Rim is cool. For the Grand Canyon itself, I like the North Rim better. The environment is more alpine and there are fewer people. I also hear the skywalk out over the canyon is cool too, but I have not been to it myself. I driven through flagstaff a ton of times, but rarely spent much time there.

For Sedona, oak creek canyon is neat when not crowded, but it might also still be a little early in the year for splashing around. The town of Jerome is worth checking out. There are a bunch of neat old buildings and a museum. The drive up the hill is seriously good. I think it was an SCCA hillclimb back in the day.
