Mine has developed a few small pin holes in it, and it leaks around the rear window. I tried to sew the window better but eventually gave up and resorted to silicone sealant. It doesn’t look perfect but it works. Every time I have a little bit of extra money I consider replacing it.

I ended up replacing my rear plastic window with plexiglass, marine goop and gorilla glue from home Depot for about $30 and two hours of work. Held up well for a year. I’d say wait until it’s really bad. If you go to a good convertible shop they can patch up the little pinpricks better than you or I can for pennies on the dollar
